SSSP Grant Aid

Our SSSP Supplemental Grant Aid is financial assistance that the SSSP offers to eligible participants each semester. Depending on financial need and availability, participants can be awarded up to $1,000 per semester. The Grant Aid Application is now open!

In order to qualify for the Grant Aid, you must meet the mandatory requirements:

1. Be receiving the Pell Grant
2. Currently enrolled and carrying 6 or more units
3. Have an unmet $900 financial need as determined by the Office of Financial Aid & Scholarships
4. Have a valid FAFSA

After meeting the requirements above, priority will be given to those: 

• In their first two years of postsecondary education at Fresno State
• Complete all Participation Agreements/Responsibilities or enrolled in UNIV 08 in the current term
• Maintain 2.75+ GPA in the previous term (Spring 2022) or cumulative GPA (we will take whichever is higher)
• Complete application to Grant Aid

TRIO SSSP will verify and confirm the completion of all the above requirements in order for the participant to be eligible for the Grant Aid.
