Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs (ATOD)
Drug Free Schools and Communities Act
Fresno State is committed to providing a safe, healthy, and supportive learning environment for students and employees. In accordance with the Drug-Free Schools and Communities Act Amendment of 1989, the University understands the importance of keeping the campus community informed annually as to available resources and support. These resources are outlined in the Fresno State Drug and Alcohol Abuse Prevention Program (DAAPP) document. We want to ensure the health, safety and security of our campus community by increasing awareness, preventing abuse, and decreasing potential drug and alcohol related crimes.
Fresno State’s commitment to student success extends beyond the classroom, and we strive for a safe and healthier environment for which students, faculty, staff and visitors can learn, teach, work and think. Thus, Fresno State is a 100% tobacco-free, smoke-free and vape-free campus. To learn more, visit fresnostate.edu/smokefree.
