Strategic Goals 

The Black Student Success Initiative focuses on on five strategic goals which are to:

  1. Enhance the campus community’s collaboration and coordination of student support efforts
  2. Broaden our data-driven framework to enhance tracking, collection, and dissemination of student success data    
  3. Raise Black student’s retention and graduation rates        
  4. Increase Black student recruitment, admission, and enrollment success
  5. Provide engaging and proactive interventions for first-time freshmen and new transfer students
