Our division mission supports the overarching Fresno State mission to "empower students for success through a transformative education rooted in active service with diverse communities" by implementing the experiential learning model, helping students to expand their perspectives and to prepare holistically for individual, interpersonal, career and societal success.

The new officers, elected by their peers, will lead ASI in its mission to enhance the student experience at Fresno State. Their installation marks the continuation of a tradition of student leadership that dates back to the early days of the university.

Fresno State received the Military Friendly School designation for the 2024-25 academic year. In May, the university received a silver rank in the category for large public institutions, meaning the university scored within the 28th to 40th percentile in comparison to other large public institutions.
Read moreFresno State’s Powerlifting Club recently competed at the 2024 University National Championships on April 11 in Reno, Nevada, where they placed first in the men’s division and second in the women’s division. The wins advanced the club to the FISU World University Championships July 23 through 27 at the University of Tartu in Estonia.

Student Success Story: Neuroscience student receives CSU Trustees' Award
At a young age, Ali Fakhrudin Dadawalla was inspired to study the complexities of the human brain after meeting a family friend who had a condition he wasn’t familiar with. Responding to an inquiry from the young Dadawalla about his condition, the man said, “Ali, have you ever heard of Parkinson’s disease? I’m dying and there aren’t any treatments for me right now.”
