  • Central Valley IT & Cybersecurity Career and Internship Fair: Tuesday, November 5, 2024 from 11:00 to 3:00 p.m., Fresno State’s Satellite Student Union. Explore the exciting career options in the fields of Information Technology and Cybersecurity!

  • Toastsmasters Workshop: Building Confidence to Enter the Workplace: Thursday, November 7, 2024 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., Resnick Student Union (RSU) 214. This event aims to empower participants with the essential skills and confidence needed to navigate the transition from academia to the professional environment. This event focuses on enhancing public speaking, communication, and interview skills, providing a supportive space for individuals to practice and grow.

  • Financial Wellness Fair: Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m., University Business Center 191, 192, 194. Join us to learn the essentials of personal finance. Explore a variety of resources and participate in workshops on budgeting, savings, credit, car buying, and retirement and investment. Gain expert insights and practical tools to confidently manage your finances and plan for a secure future!
  • Evaluating Offers and Salary Negotiations: Wednesday, November 20, 2024 from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m., Library 2206. Join us to learn how to evaluate job offers and gain the skills and confidence to negotiate salaries and benefits.

Weekly Events

  • The Knowledge Hub: Make your way to the Learning Center. Join the study buddy program today and unlock your academic potential through the power of collaborative learning. Every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. This event is sponsored by Fresno State’s Cross Cultural and Gender Center and the Black Student Success Initiative. 
  • Sistah to Sistah: A space for Black women or women of color to connect and form a community through thoughtful discussions, engaging culture, and other topics. This space is open to all students, staff, and faculty. Every Thursday from 12:00 p.m.- 1:30 p.m. in the Thomas Building.
  • Barbershop Talks: A space for Black men or men of color to engage in thoughtful discussions while assisting with personal and emotional development. This space is open to students, staff, and faculty—every Wednesday from 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m. in the Thomas building. 
  • Wellness Wednesday: Every Wednesday from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., enjoy free fresh fruit, giveaways, and fun activities.
  • Pride of the Valley: Visit Fresno State Athletics to attend weekly sports events.
