For Fresno State students:

  • Harvesting the Leaders of Tomorrow Career and Internship Fair Hosted by Jordan College of Agricultural Sciences and Technology: Feb. 5th from 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Satelite Student Union. Open to undergraduate and graduate students and recent alumni from all academic majors that have an interest in the agriculture industry. Meet employers offering internships and full-time positions from a variety of agricultural areas. 
  • Career Fair Prep Carnival: Feb. 19th from 9:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. at the Memorial Lawn. Are you geared up for the upcoming career fairs? We’re here to make sure you’re not just ready, but carnival-ready for your career journey! Join us for a whirlwind of excitement and skill-building activities that will prepare you in the most delightful and engaging ways!
  • Resumes: Beyond Basics: Feb. 19th in Library 2206. Get ready for the upcoming Career Fairs and take your resume to the next level at the Resume: Beyond Basics Workshop. The workshop will go beyond the fundamentals, focusing on reffing your experience section and crafting impactful bullet points. 
  • FAFSA Workshop: Feb. 21th from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. in Joyal Administration 203. For students who have not yet completed or have question about their 2024 - 2025 FASA
  • Wellness Wednesday: Every Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. at the University Center. Stop by for FREE incentives, goodies and snacks! Plus, you can always pick up information that supports your overall health and wellness.

  • Black History Month Art Exhibit by Vanessa Addison Wiliams:  Feb. 5th - 28th from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. in The Dean’s Gallery (Music 186). Through her vibrant and evocative works, Addison-Williams explores themes of identity, strength, and cultural heritage, weaving narratives that honor the struggles and triumphs of the Black experience. Her art celebrates the resilience of the human spirit while fostering a deeper understanding of history, community, and hope.

  • Dr. Chelsea Frazier on Eco-feminism: Feb. 6th at 2:30 p.m. in the Ellipse Gallery of the Fresno State Library. 

  • Labor of Love: Feb. 12th from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m. in the Ellipse Gallery of the Fresno State Library. An African American read-in. 

  • Tracey Dunne, Side Hustle Jams: Feb. 13th at 2:30 p.m. in the Ellipse Gallery of the Fresno State Library. Join us for a jam tasting. 

  • Cineculture: Following Harry: Feb. 14th at 5:30 p.m. at the Student Rec Center Auditorium. Dedicated to icon and social justice activist Harry Belafonte. Post film discussion with the director, Susanne Rostock. 

  • Walk in Peace Concert: Feb. 14th from 7:30 - 9:30 p.m. in the Fresno State Concert Hall. Fresno State University and Fresno City College have come together annually to present the “Walk in Peace: A Celebration of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and Black History Month” concert. This unique performance features the combined choirs from both institutions and promises to be a moving and uplifting celebration of music, unity and the enduring legacy of Dr. King.
  • Amplify your Heart - A Black History Month Open Mic: Feb. 20th from 5:30 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. in the Ellipse Gallery of the Fresno State Library.
