  • Create Your Higher Ground - Paint and Sip Night with Kambrya Bailey: March 15, 7:00 p.m, Tower Blendz Juice Bar, 802 E. Olive Ave. All supplies provided plus a healthy blended juice drink. Registrants will be given a model to create their own "higher ground" (a la Stevie Wonder) that sparks creativity and encourages you to rest, restore, reboot, and revive. Limited to 20 guests. Registration required contact mschettl@csufresno.edu for the link. 
  • Preview Day: March 16 in the Maple Mall from 8:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A celebration that welcomes future bulldogs and shares more information about what Fresno State has to offer to our prospective students. Preview Day will feature academic information, campus tours, student organizations and clubs, find jobs on campus, explore housing, student success services, meet Victor E IV, and performances, accept your admission and much more!
    • African American Reception: Noon. - 1:00 p.m. in the Vintage Room
  • 2024 Womack Lecture: March 18. The panel discussion will take place in the Fresno State Library lecture hall (room 2206) at 2 p.m. The evening’s Womack Lecture will be held in the Library’s Leon S. Peters Ellipse Gallery at 6 p.m. Both events are free and open to the public.
  • Student Parent Resource Fair:  March 20, 2024 from 11:00 a.m. - 1:00 p.m in the Ellipse Gallery of the Fresno State Library. This event is aimed to educate student parents and students with dependents about the resources offered by local community groups and organizations on campus. Please contact Programs for Children for more information.
  • Audia Dixon Dedication: March 21, 5:00 p.m. Jensen Library, Smittcamp Alumni House. The Africana Studies Program has commissioned a painting by Audia Dixon which will be presented at this reception celebrating African American arts. Please help us recognize Ms. Dixon's fantastic and visionary work. RSVPs required by March 14. Contact mschettl@csufresno.edu.
  • BAPAC Fresno 6th Annual Mid-Year Conference: March 22-23 at the Wyndham Hotel (5090 E. Clinton Way). 
  • Black Student Wellness Conference: April 20 from 9:00 a.m. -1:00 p.m. at the Impact Center (1955 Broadway Street, Fresno, CA, 93721). This conference focuses on centering wellness for African American/Black students and their families.
