American Indian Room

American Indian Room

The American Indian Room offers a welcoming space to connect with the vibrant heritage of Native American communities. Adorned with artwork that speaks to environmental responsibility and historical awareness, and featuring a collection of relevant books, this room serves as a place for learning, dialogue, and respectful engagement. We invite you to explore and appreciate the powerful stories and perspectives represented here.
API room

Asain Pacific Islander Room

The Asian Pacific Islander Room is a vibrant space celebrating the rich and diverse cultures of the API community. This room is a place for students to connect, learn, and find a sense of belonging. It's designed to foster community, provide resources, and honor the many unique heritages within the Asian and Pacific Islander diaspora. Whether you're seeking a place to study, meet, or simply connect with others, this room is open to all.
Harambee Room

Harambee Room

“Harambee” is a Swahili word meaning “let’s pull together,” a call for unity and collective strength. The Harambee Room lives up to its name as a vibrant space that celebrates Black culture in all its depth and diversity. From African American heritage to the broader experiences of the African Diaspora, this room honors our shared histories, struggles, and joys. Whether you're stopping by to study, gather in community, or just take a moment to breathe, the Harambee Room is here for you—a place where culture, connection, and belonging come together.


La Casita

La Casita (de Helen Ramirez)

La Casita is an affinity space within the Cross Cultural and Gender Center that celebrates Latine culture through vibrant artwork representing its diverse traditions and identities. The space serves as a hub for students to connect, learn, and engage with Latine-centered programming. Flyers from the center and community organizations provide opportunities for students to get involved with events and initiatives at Fresno State and throughout the City of Fresno.
TLC Pride Room

TLC Pride Room

Located in the Thomas Building, Room 109B, inside the Cross Cultural and Gender Center, the TLC Pride Room is a safe and affirming space for LGBTQ2+ students and allies. Whether you're looking to relax, study, connect with the community, or just take a break, this space is here for you. We’ve got comfy seating, resources, and a welcoming vibe. Need a quiet spot to recharge? All are welcome here.

Gender Equity Room

GenEq Room

The Gender Equity Room—affectionately known as GEN EQ—is a welcoming space dedicated to exploring and advancing gender justice on campus and beyond. This room centers the experiences of women, femmes, trans, nonbinary, and gender-expansive individuals navigating systems of inequity. Whether you're passionate about advocacy, seeking resources, or simply need a quiet space to reflect, GEN EQ offers a supportive environment where dialogue, empowerment, and community thrive. From creative resources and empowering literature to artwork and discussion circles, everything in this space is designed to challenge norms and celebrate the power and beauty of gender equity.
