LGBTQ+ Programs and Services
LGBTQ+ Programs and Services is a central location for students, faculty, staff, and
community members to engage with the LGBTQ2+ history, experience, and culture. Our
purpose is to increase visibility and awareness of the diverse identities within the
LGBTQ2+ community, challenge social misconceptions about sexuality and gender, and
create a safer space for self-exploration and growth.

Transgender Day of Remembrance
An annual observance to honor and remember our transgender siblings who have lost their lives this past year due to violence and transphobia. Presented by LGBTQ+ Programs and Services, Trans-E-Motion, and the Department of Women’s Gender and Sexuality Studies.
LGBTQ2+ History, Education & Art Exhibits
Regularly curated physical and digital exhibits are featured in the Fresno State library, TLC Pride Room, Cross Cultural and Gender Center hallway, and online. These exhibits spotlight LGBTQ2+ history, culture, educational themes, and cultural productions, offering powerful opportunities for celebration, awareness, and reflection through storytelling.
Community-Responsive Programming
Programs and initiatives developed in response to the evolving needs, feedback, and voices of our LGBTQ2+ community. These offerings are shaped by current events, student input, and emerging issues, ensuring LGBTQ+ Programs and Services remains relevant, supportive, and inclusive.
LGBTQ2+ Prom (Grom)
An annual event that celebrates pride, inclusivity, and the LGBTQ2+ community alongside allies, providing a safe and welcoming space for all attendees (18 years and older). More than just a prom, Grom offers a joyful environment where LGBTQ2+ individuals and allies can come together, support one another, and create lasting memories.
