Food Security Project
The Amendola Family Student Cupboard
The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is a free food pantry for currently enrolled Fresno State students. Students are able to choose from a variety of free food and other essential items, including fresh fruits and vegetables, non-perishable canned and boxed items, dairy and non-dairy products and various meat options.
- Students can visit once a day, Monday through Friday.
- Students can take one of each item (unless there is a sign that says otherwise).
- Students do need to bring a reusable bag to shop for their items.
- Once students are finished shopping, they can head to the front desk to check out with their Fresno State ID card.
Semester hours are:
- Mondays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Tuesdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Wednesdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursdays from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
- Fridays from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is open when campus is open and closed during campus holiday closures.
The Amendola Family Student Cupboard is located in Industrial Technology, room 144. We are on the corner of Barstow and Jackson. Parking is available in P20 across the street from the Student Cupboard with a semester parking permit, or in P21 at the meters. There are limited free 30-minute parking spots in P21.
If you're dropping off a donation, please call the Student Cupboard at 559.278.6621 and someone can meet you in the back of the building to collect your donation so you don't have to pay to park.
