Mission

The Office of Black Student Success offers supportive services that foster the transition and integration of African descent students into the university and help them thrive and achieve academic and personal success.

Goal 1: Identify, select and admit eligible students into the program

Goal 2: Assist students in understanding program history, expectations, and requirements

Goal 5: Provide guidance and referrals to financial aid and scholarships

Goal 6: Promote student personal engagement

Goal 7: Provide comprehensive training for mentors to support student engagement and retention
