Take a glance at helpful resources for promoting success in college
Locations
The Kennel Bookstore is located in the center of campus in front of the fountain.
The Fresno State Library is located past the University Student Union, on the left.
All purchases made at the Kennel Bookstore are returnable through the end of the first week of class. Click here for a full return policy.
Textbooks
The bookstore offers new, used, rental and digital books. You can purchase your books online, or on the third floor of the Kennel Bookstore.
Textbooks are made convenient through the Kennel Bookstore site, as they make a dedicated list of the books needed for your enrolled courses. You can also search by course should one not show up properly in the main list.
Technology
The Kennel Bookstore sells computers, tablets and computer software. Educational discounts are available to students, faculty and staff. To view a full list of available technology, you can view their Electronics page.
The Fresno State Library also lends out a limited amount of tablets per semester. Click here to view what they offer and how to check one out.

The bookstore also offers an array of other useful material for classes!
A few things that are available in the lower level include:
- Testing booklets
- Scantrons
- Graphing Paper
- Art Supplies
- Journals
- Writing Utensils
- Etc.
DISCOVERe
DISCOVERe courses offer students portability, convenience, and teaching materials anywhere, anytime.
When registering, these courses will be labeled as "DISCOVERe class". Students in these courses will be given access to loaner iPads for the semester they are enrolled in the class.

Follett ACCESS
Follett Access, also known as Immediate Access, are courses that offer all course materials upon the first day of class.
This program offers convenient access to materials, whether online or physical, and costs are often included in the cost of tuition or the course itself.

Technology Service Desk
If you're having trouble accessing your Student Portal, email account, Canvas, or need to reset your password, you should contact the Technology Service Desk at 559-278-5000.
On their website, you can also learn how to sync your Fresno State email account to your phone, learn about free software for students, and submit a work order for any problems you're having.
Computer Labs
Fresno State provides several Open Computer Labs on campus:
- Fresno State Library, open spaces
- Peters Business Building, Room 133
- Kremen School of Education, Room 420
- Social Sciences Building, Room 202
- University Student Union, main floor
Pay for Print
Employees, students and guests can print from anywhere on or off campus, using their Bulldog Card or a Bulldog Bucks card. Printers are located in the lower floor of the Fresno State Library, past the DISCOVERe section.
