LaunchPad is a free, five-day summer success camp for incoming Fresno State freshmen. It’s designed to help you connect with other students, get familiar with campus, and start your college journey with confidence.
LaunchPad is open to incoming first-time Bulldog Bound freshmen from Fresno Unified School District who have been admitted to Fresno State.
Yes! You must officially accept your admission to Fresno State in order to participate in the LaunchPad camp.
Simply fill out the interest form using the QR code or link provided below. Once you've accepted your admission, we’ll follow up with next steps!
Free transportation, meals, Fresno State swag, and all program activities—including 1:1 meetings with advising and financial aid experts, earning a scholarship and college credit, completing Dog Days Orientation, getting a full class schedule, and more!

Yes! We’ll provide information for parents and families so they know how to support you and what to expect. On the interest form, be sure to submit their contact information.
Yes! Students are welcome to drive themselves or be dropped off and picked up each day. Free parking will be available for participants who choose to drive—details will be shared closer to the camp start date.
Yes! Your Dog Days Orientation will be fully integrated into the LaunchPad experience - at no cost!
Yes! Students will earn a scholarship AND college credit by participating. Keep in mind - you need to be present for all 5 days of the camp to get these amazing benefits!
That’s totally fine! If you're selected for Fresno State LaunchPad, your Dog Days Orientation will be integrated into the camp experience, and we’ll take care of updating your reservation. You won’t need to attend a separate orientation session. If you already paid for Dog Days, that payment will be refunded to your student account.
Each day will be filled with interactive workshops, campus tours, team-building activities, and sessions focused on college success. You’ll also get time to meet new friends, explore your interests, and have fun!
Absolutely! While Fresno State LaunchPad helps you get prepared academically, it’s also packed with fun events, games, social activities, and surprises.
No problem! Fresno State LaunchPad is all about meeting new people and building a support network. You’ll leave with a community of friends before school even starts.
