Freshman

All 1st and 2nd year students are assigned to the Entering Student Unit team.

The mission of the Entering Student Unit, in keeping with EOP’s mission, is to provide an array of comprehensive services designed to empower students to reach their educational and personal goals.

Students are expected to meet with an EOP Counselor and a Peer Mentor each semester for guidance, mentoring and support. Expectations include a minimum of:

• 1 Counselor Meeting
• 2 Peer Mentor Meetings
• 1 EOP Academic Advising Session
• 2 Workshops

These services are designed to enhance student integration into the university, increase the use of campus resources, maximize the college experience, and guide students to reach their academic and career goals.
