Southeast Asian Student Success

The Southeast Asian Student Success Initiative is a comprehensive and multi-pronged program that is open to all students, regardless of sex, race, color or national origin. The program utilizes a holistic approach to increasing retention and graduation rates, eliminating equity gaps in degree completion and fostering the academic success of Southeast Asian students, supporting the goals of The California State University's Graduation Initiative (GI) 2025. Our approach centers on creating a vibrant, supportive community where we prioritize academic success through comprehensive mentoring, academic support, and a range of programs designed to keep students engaged with their studies and the campus community.

By focusing on retention and graduation, we lay the groundwork for lifelong learning, empowering students to take charge of their education and pursue their academic goals with confidence. Alongside academic achievement, we offer career readiness, leadership development, cultural enrichment, and peer mentorship, providing students with the skills and support they need to thrive academically and professionally.

Our ultimate goal is to empower students to overcome obstacles, achieve their academic dreams, and become lifelong learners who contribute positively to their communities. With the Southeast Asian Student Success, you’re not just earning a degree—you’re building the foundation for a successful future.
