Outstanding Advisor Awards
The Outstanding Advisor Awards are awarded annually to faculty and staff advisors who have demonstrated qualities associated with outstanding academic advising of students. Award recipients will be selected by the Interim Provost and the Interim Vice President for Student Affairs and Enrollment Management and will receive a $1,000 stipend for professional development.
On May 5, 2022 we celebrated 39 Outstanding Advisor Award nominees and announced the four recipients. This is the largest group of nominees in the 16 years of this award. We also had 350 unique submissions from students and staff. Advising does matter and the volume of student submissions testifies to that. Thank you to all who made time to submit a nomination.
