Essential Needs

Welcome to the Center for Essential Needs

Mission - Providing students with equitable support to ensure that their needs are met and they can persist to degree completion and personal success.

Vision - To alleviate essential needs insecurities faced by Fresno State students.

The Center for Essential Needs is here to ensure you have the resources you need to succeed on your educational journey but more importantly in life! We embrace a holistic approach to student well being, taking into consideration your personal experiences and beliefs, identity, values and goals for your future.

Essential needs are critical and include access to healthy food, safe and secure housing and being financially stable both in the present and the future. Essential needs are at the core of what we need to be well and includes access to health/medical care, technology, and transportation needs.

All enrolled students including undergraduate, graduate, international and undocumented students are eligible for resources available at the Center for Essential Needs services.
