The college pursues its mission through instruction, research, and institutional development, aiming to enhance student success and community contributions.

Lyles College of Engineering

The Lyles College of Engineering at Fresno State delivers academic excellence through ABET-accredited programs in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Computer and Geomatics Engineering as well as Architectural Studies and ACCE accredited Construction Management. Lyles College students have exclusive access to a wide range of college resources that support academic success and career preparation, including internships with leading companies and organizations, academic coaching and tutoring, career development and mentoring programs, leadership retreats, field trips and scholarships. Students have opportunities for research and other hands-on design experiences. Students can join over thirty student clubs and organizations in the college and participate in competitions, field trips, and attend national conferences. The college's Finish-in-Five program provides students the opportunity to earn both the BS and MS degrees in five years. Lyles College of Engineering graduates have made great strides locally, nationally and internationally. Our graduates have been presidents and CEOs of large corporations and have had careers as astronauts, entrepreneurs, designers, construction managers, engineers, innovators, and have served in both public and private sectors.

The Craig School of Business offers a transformative education with a focus on entrepreneurship and global understanding.  With a strong faculty, accreditation, and numerous scholarships, the school provides a cost-effective education.  The Craig School boasts a variety of programs, including an award-winning internship program, a nationally ranked entrepreneurship program, and a top-ranked Human Resources Management program.

College of Arts and Humanities  

The College of Arts and Humanities is home for highly diverse students and faculty engaged in the widest variety of artistic and humanistic disciplines in the San Joaquín Valley.  As the heart of Fresno State, we study the artistic expression, communication skills, humanistic values, and cultural awareness that form the foundation of scholarship and creative activities. Our nine departments plus the Armenian Studies Program are central to the University’s General Education program and offer dozens of fascinating majors and minors.

CHHS at Fresno State is the largest college, graduating nearly 1,050 students annually, with a strong focus on regional service and first-generation students. The college boasts high graduation rates, significant service-learning hours, and substantial grant funding.

College of Science and Mathematics 

The College of Science and Mathematics offers diverse undergraduate and graduate degrees to prepare students for lucrative careers in STEM fields, which are projected to grow significantly.
