Student financial aid is funding that is available exclusively to students attending a post-secondary educational institution or program.

Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Eligible students criteria:
- Be a citizen or eligible noncitizen of the United States
- Have a valid Social Security Number
- Maintain satisfactory academic progress
- Have a high school diploma or a General Education Development (GED)
- Be enrolled in an eligible program as a regular student seeking a degree or certificate
- Register (or already be registered) with the Selective Service System, if you are a male and not currently on active duty in the U.S. Armed Forces
FSA ID
An FSA ID is a username and password that gives you access to Federal Student Aid's online systems and can serve as your legal signature. Only create an FSA ID using your own personal information and for your own exclusive use.

California Dream Act
The California Dream Act of 2011 was passed in 2 laws AB 130 and AB 131
This allows an AB 540 eligible student to receive some state grants, privately funded scholarships, institutional grants and fee waivers
AB 540 eligible students criteria:
- Attended a California high school for 3 or more years
- Graduated from a California high school or equivalent
- Registered or are currently enrolled at an accredited California college or university
- Filed an affidavit with your college or university stating that you have or intend to file an application to legalize your immigration status, if applicable
CA Dream Act
The CA Dream Act Application allows students interested in attending eligible California Colleges, Universities, and Career Education Programs to apply for state financial aid.
