Affinity Programming

  • Cross Cultural and Gender Center (CCGC): Creating a campus of respect, inclusion and equal opportunity; where all members of the campus community thrive, free from oppression and discrimination. 
  • Black Student Success Initiative: The program utilizes a holistic approach to increasing retention and graduation rates, eliminating equity gaps in degree completion, and improving the success of all students, including Black students, supporting the goals of The California State University’s Graduation Initiative (GI) 2025.
  • Diversity & First-Gen Directory: This project aims to enhance representation, visibility, and connection among our diverse identities, ultimately creating a supportive network for our students.                                                                             
  • Parent Scholars: Resources and services that support the success and empowerment of students who are parents and caretakers for children under the age of 18.
  • Southeast Asian Student Success Center: The program utilizes a holistic approach to increasing retention and graduation rates, eliminating equity gaps in degree completion and fostering the academic success of Southeast Asian students, supporting the goals of The California State University's Graduation Initiative (GI) 2025. 
  • Tri-Alpha: A national honor society for first-generation students.
