Financial Aid Updates December 2025

• Make sure to complete your 2026-2027 FAFSA or CADAA and the Fresno State General Scholarship Application by the March 2, 2026 priority deadline!
• Students not meeting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) requirements will be notified the week of January 5, 2026.
  • Students that had an approved SAP appeal for the Fall semester will need to have their plan reviewed before spring aid will disburse. They will be notified once the review has been completed.
• Financial Aid for Spring is anticipated to disburse on or around January 9, 2026.
• Student Accounts’ Fee Payment Deadline is January 12, 2026. To avoid being dropped from classes for nonpayment, students should have one of the following:
  • Account balance paid in full.
  • Payment plan set up with Student Accounts.
  • Spring fee deferment on Student Center.
• Expecting financial aid? You will automatically be assigned a spring fee deferment if you meet the eligibility criteria, but if you do not, you can request consideration for a spring fee deferment from January 9th at 8:00am through January 12th at 5:00pm.
• For questions about charges, making a payment, financial obligation holds, Past Due Assign to Rec Select holds, please contact Student Accounts at 559.278.2876 or student_financial_services@listserv.csufresno.edu.
• Spring 2026 Census is February 13, 2026:
  • Financial aid is finalized based on your enrollment as of census.
  • Complete your Class Participation Certification by census to avoid impacts to your financial aid.
