Immunization Requirements

The Student Health and Counseling Center has a team of physicians, nurse practitioners and other health care professionals available to meet your medical needs. Payment of the Mandatory Health Fee allows students unlimited primary care visits at no additional costs.

Groups are available to have the support of others who share similar concerns and to gain information needed for effective self-care. A wide variety of groups are available each semester, focusing on topics such as relationships, stress, anxiety, and more.

Crisis Intervention

If students feel they need immediate mental health support, they may be seen for a Mental Health Triage visit. Students will be seen by a counselor in person or through Zoom within one hour of arrival.

Survivor Advocacy

Our mission is to provide free confidential support and advocacy services to our Fresno State students, staff, and faculty who have experienced sexual violence/misconduct, dating/domestic violence, stalking, and other forms of interpersonal violence. Our services are confidential, meaning that we are not required to report disclosures to law enforcement or other campus entities.

The Student Health and Counseling Center has two teams of volunteers within our building: Peer Ambassadors of Wellness (PAWs) and Student Health Advisory Committee (SHAC).
