Access must be pre-approved thru PeopleSoft security request. All advisors (professional or student) will have access to Bulldog Connect when
they are approved access to PeopleSoft. Current active Faculty are automatically given
professor access. Please ensure that the Human Resources has been hire you into your
department either as an employee or volunteer since security requests will go to the
MPP of the department.
Once given access create availability for student appointments. Availability lets staff indicate the days, times, locations,
and services they offer when they meet with students.
There is significant flexibility when you create availabilities. Staff can choose
the length of the availability’s duration, which can range from a specific set of
dates to forever. Availability can be set for appointments, drop-in visits, and/or
appointment campaigns. Staff can create course-specific availability such as course-based
tutoring. For group appointments, staff can set the maximum number of students for
a single appointment slot.
Active students will be able to request or schedule an appointment with their declared
major. For Special Programs and Career Advising students are able to request or schedule
appointments based on the locations configurations.
(Optional) Sync your Google calendar
to block out unavailable times. Your calendar in Bulldog Connect is a quick way to
view your appointments or events at a glance. The Calendar tab provides a view of
your calendar, including all appointments within Bulldog Connect, all courses in which
you currently are enrolled or teaching, all general events, and any busy times.
