ASI has many documents that hold our Organization accountable and helps to provide transparency to students, faculty, staff, or other interested parties. ASI budget and reports detail the organization's budget, funding allocations, and appropriations, offering a comprehensive analysis of its financial health. In the spirit of transparency, ASI strives to be good stewards of student fees while providing programs and services that enhance the student experience at Fresno State.
Each academic year, ASI convenes the Student Senate, the governing body of the organization, to pass resolutions that take a specific stance or make a statement about current events on and off campus. These resolutions reflect the voice of the Student Senate and, consequently, the student body at Fresno State. Resolutions can be brought forth by a student senator, an ASI executive, or both, and are facilitated by the ASI Executive Vice President and Director of Operations, who provide guidance and support. For a resolution to pass, it requires a simple majority vote by the ASI Student Senate.
ASI is a student-led and run organization comprising 22 student leaders who play a crucial role in the shared governance of the university. The ASI Executive Team consists of four student executives: ASI President & CEO, Executive Vice President, Vice President of Finance, and Vice President of External Affairs. Additionally, there are 18 ASI senators, with eight representing each college of the university and eleven representing various aspects of student life on campus. Four full-time staff members: Director of Operations, Office Coordinator, Outreach Coordinator, and Communications Coordinator, as well as four student assistants who provide support and guidance to these student leaders for their respective initiatives and projects.
The ASI Senate meets biweekly to conduct official business on behalf of the organization. All meeting documents and supplementary information can be found here for informational and reference purposes.

ASI Committee Meetings are held biweekly when the ASI Senate is not in session, with each committee chaired by an ASI executive or senator. These committees are essential to the governance of the organization, where detailed work is done on behalf of the organization, and appointments are made to vacancies before being sent to the ASI Senate for final approval. ASI Committees are open to all Fresno State students who meet the minimum requirements to serve. If you are interested in serving on an ASI committee, please contact the ASI Executive Vice President or the ASI Director of Operations to determine eligibility and service requirements. All logo requests must be approved by the ASI Communications Coordinator and Director of Operations before any use by clubs/orgs or any other campus departments.
