CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) Training
Learn CPR and help save a life!
Knowing CPR:
- Doubles or triples survival chance
- Prevents brain damage
- Buys time to allow for emergency services to arrive
- Turns passive observers into active bystanders
- Benefits loved ones as most cardiac arrests happen at home
- Increases community preparedness
CPR training/certification is available for currently enrolled Fresno State students. After the two-and-a-half-hour class, students will receive a two-year certification from the American Red Cross. Resume worthy! The class focuses on adult CPR and AED use. The cost is $40. Each CPR class has a maximum enrollment of 24 students.

All classes will be held on a Friday from 12 to 2:30 p.m. in the Resnick Student Union on the following dates:
- September 25, 2026 (Registration Deadline – September 16)
- October 23, 2026 (Registration Deadline – October 14)
- November 20, 2026 (Registration Deadline – November 11)
Once you register, you will be sent a link (within 2 to 3 days) in which to pay for your class. Once you pay, you will receive the exact location of the class.
Please note that the fees are non-refundable. Students will not be turned away based on their ability to pay.
