What does being an ambassador mean?

We represent the university as students and inspire future students to explore their options in higher education.

What kind of work does an ambassador do?

We provide campus tours, presentations and student panels for K-8th students and we are active in the community providing an information booth to share what Fresno State has to offer. We also help manage our office with phone calls, email inquiries and front desk customer service.

What are the work hours? How many hours a week do you work?

The office is open during M-F 8:00 am - 5:00 pm and your working hours are very flexible to accommodate students' class schedules. Student ambassadors can work a max of 20 hours per week. Some events we host and attend may land in the evenings and weekends.

What do you look for when hiring a student ambassador?
