Mental Health Support

  • Crisis Care (Mental Health Triage): For students needing immediate mental health support. 
  • Overview of Counseling Services: Counseling offers a safe place to express your thoughts, feelings and concerns. 
    • Let's Talk: An anonymous and informal solution-oriented consultation with a counselor. "Undocu-Talk" and "International Talk" are also available.
    • Group Counseling: Groups are available to have the support of others who share similar concerns and to gain information needed for effective self-care. A wide variety of groups are available each semester, focusing on topics such as relationships, stress, anxiety, and women's issues.
    • Suicide Prevention Training: We offer Question, Persuade and Refer (QPR) training to help you recognize and respond to the warning signs of suicide.
    • Veterans Counseling: We offer individual therapy, connections to a wide range of VA resources, and peer/group support.  We also provide Education and Training to Faculty and Staff on Veteran Student issues.
