Katie Garcia is the Outreach Counselor for the American Indian Recruitment and Retention initiative and is available to provide you with more information on Fresno State, becoming a student and exploring the programs that interest you, and to answer any questions that you may have. She is a member of the Picayune Rancheria of the Chukchansi Indians where she has worked for her tribe’s government and served on the tribe’s Education Committee. Katie has her bachelors in Psychology and Master’s degree in Organizational Behavior, and is currently in the Marriage, Family, and Child Counseling Program at Fresno State. She is passionate about education and helping students find the right fit of program in order to achieve their goals.
