Major/Minor Change
The change of Major/Minor Request is now paperless and needs to be initiated by your new major advisor.
Please contact your new major department for assistance to begin the process.
Once your major advisor initiates your form, you will receive an email to approve
the request and your request will begin to
route accordingly.

Advisors: If student exceeds the 144 limit unit, you may be asked to submit the supplemental over 144 form.
Note: Newly admitted students (First-Time Freshmen & Transfer) will be able to change their major once Dog Days Orientations begin.
- New graduate and postbaccalaureate students should visit the Graduate Admissions Office, Thomas Administration Building, Room 132.
- Continuing graduate and postbaccalaureate students should visit the Division of Graduate Studies Office, Thomas Administration Building, Room 132.
