Requesting Notarization

Notarization

 

The Registrar’s Office provides assistance with notary services to Fresno State students and alumni for official documents produced by the University Registrar.

You will be required to schedule an appointment between the University Registrar and the mobile notary public, you select to notarize your document(s). Please note that the notary will charge a service fee, which you will pay directly to them. You may select your own mobile notary or contact our office for referrals.

After notarization, you may pick up your documents in person or have them mailed. If you would like them mailed, please provide a prepaid shipping label (air bill) or prepaid envelope.If you have questions, please call 559-278-4743 and select Option 6, or email aresa@mail.fresnostate.edu.

Please submit your Notary Request. Once submitted Notary Request is submitted, email us at: aresa@mail.fresnostate.edu to request the FERPA form. You will need to complete and upload a signed FERPA release form authorizing us and selected Notary Public to act as your designee during this process. 

Transcripts:

  1. Order Your Official Transcript
    Go to Cashnet and place your order for an official Fresno State transcript.
  2. Send Your Order Receipt
    After placing your order, email a copy of your Cashnet order receipt to aresa@mail.fresnostate.edu.
  3. Include Notary Request in Email
    In your email, clearly state that your transcript is being ordered for notary purposes to ensure proper handling and faster processing.

Diploma:

  • Submit a diploma re-issue request using the Online Diploma Services. There is a $20 fee for each re-issued diploma.
  • For quicker processing time, we recommend you order your diploma and have it sent directly to our office at:

Authentication Certificate (Apostille)

Fresno State does not provide assistance with apostille requests.  Below is a link to information regarding the process that is administered by the California Secretary of State Office.  Students requesting this additional service are responsible for all contact and mailings to the California Secretary of State Office.
