Mule packing is a tradition that allowed many individuals to move railroads or raw materials across the country into undeveloped areas. Packing also allows those who wish to camp in the wilderness past road accessibility to do so. Through Fresno State, club members will practice tying knots for the box and diamond hitches, balancing pack loads, and collaborating with their teammates to improve efficiency. The club is a great way to appreciate traditions, understand the value of natural resources, build workplace and life applicable skills, and stretch themselves.

When this club was first established, the focus was on providing a space for anyone who wanted to wrestle, regardless of experience or commitment level. It was about enjoying the sport, staying active, and building a community. And while those things are still important, it’s time we aim higher.
We’re transitioning from being a casual club to becoming a competitive club team. This shift means that we’ll need a higher level of commitment from everyone involved. This means practices will be more frequent and more intense. Attendance will be necessary, and we’ll be holding each other accountable to meet the new standards.
Gear up for an incredible season ahead! Go Dogs!
