Declaring your Major

At 45 units earned you will receive a Major Declaration Warning on your Student Center.  This is a warning, not a registration block.

At 60 units earned you will receive a Major Declaration Hold on your Student Center.  This will block you from registration and you will need to declare a major to clear the hold.

You will need to complete a change of major form with an advisor from the department of the major you want to declare.  Please contact the appropriate Major Advising Center to meet with an advisor.

The signed form must be turned into the Admissions & Records service windows in the North Lobby of the Joyal Administration building.
