Academic Success Coaching
Academic Success Coaching (ASC) is an early alert referral program whereby faculty and staff can refer students who need academic and/or personal assistance. Students are encouraged to meet with an ASC advisor who will provide the appropriate academic assistance and university resources.
Cal-SOAP
Central Valley Cal-SOAP was established to increase higher education access to low-income, first-generation, and/or underserved high school students. Our program provides academic advising, tutoring support, college awareness workshops, financial aid assistance, and career exploration opportunities.
Career Development Center
At any stage in the college experience, students and alumni can meet with a career counselor to clarify their career direction, ensure they are prepared to market themselves well or to develop a personalized job search approach.
College Assistance Migrant Program
The College Assistance Migrant Program (CAMP) is committed to providing access, orientation, academic, retention, personal, and financial assistance to entering freshman students from migrant or seasonal farm worker families.

Cross Cultural and Gender Center
The Cross Cultural and Gender Center fosters meaningful dialogue and activism that works to eliminate racism, sexism, heterosexism, and other forms of oppression.

Dog Days
New Student Orientation is a program designed to help new students transition into the University. Whether you are coming in as a transfer student from another college/university or a first-time freshman from high school, we are here to help you.
Dream Success Center
The Dream Centers are committed to empowering students through a welcoming and supportive environment. We ensure access and success through: Advocacy and Outreach Holistic Services on personal, social and academic support.
Educational Opportunity Center
Central California Educational Opportunity Center (CCEOC) is a TRIO program providing services to low-income and/or first generation eligible adults desiring to enter into post-secondary educational program.
Educational Opportunity Program
The Educational Opportunity Program provides an array of services to support first-generation, low-income, educationally disadvantaged college students.
Educational Talent Search
The Central California Educational Talent Search Program is an outreach program designed to provide services that will assist eligible participants to complete their secondary education and prepare for college.

Financial Aid and Scholarships
Financial aid, in its simplest definition, is financial assistance intended to aid students in reaching their educational goals. This assistance may come in a variety of forms such as grants, scholarships, work-study and loan programs.
Food Security Project
Food insecurity is a growing issue on college campuses. Fresno State is working hard to make sure that food insecurity isn't a problem on our campus.

Learning Center
The Learning Center serves as the centralized hub of academic support services for the Fresno State campus community. This department offers three uniquely structured programs: Supplemental Instruction (SI), Academic Success Coaching (ASC) and Tutoring. These services work together to integrate the culture and values of each student to inspire a community of life-long learners.

Office of Black Student Success
The Office of Black Student Success offers supportive services that foster the transition and integration of African descent students into the university and help them thrive and achieve academic and personal success.
Outreach and Special Programs
Outreach and Special Programs dedicates its efforts on early outreach, special initiatives, underrepresented groups, and diversity. We encourage and create a college going culture through exposure, promotion, and activities by partnering with school districts and community organizations.

Project H.O.P.E.
Project H.O.P.E. is a campus resource for Fresno State students who need access to specific services on-campus, and helps student gain access to resources off-campus in collaboration with United Way Fresno and Madera by using their 2-1-1 database.

Renaissance Scholars Program
The Renaissance Scholars Program is an academic retention program supporting first-year, transfer, and continuing undergraduate students who experiences foster care, unaccompanied homeless youth and other independent youth certified by the Financial Aid Office.

Services for Students with Disabilites
The Services for Students with Disabilities program endeavors to ensure a fair learning environment where students are able to succeed based on their own efforts and initiative, unhampered in their academic pursuits by disadvantages associated with their particular disability.

Student Rights and Responsibilities
The mission of Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities is to develop, disseminate, interpret, and enforce campus regulations and protect relevant rights of students.
Student Health and Counseling Center
The Student Health and Counseling Center helps to promote the academic and personal success of Fresno State students by encouraging the maintenance of healthy lifestyles and providing affordable and accessible health and psychological care.

Student Recreation Center
The Student Recreation Center provides quality recreational opportunities, experiences and facilities for the university community to promote an active and healthy lifestyles which enhances opportunities for the continuance of personal growth.
Student Support Services
SSS is a federal TRIO grant program that serves first generation, low income, and disabled students. Its purpose is to provide academic support services to assist undergraduate participants to remain in college and reach the goal of graduation.

Summer Bridge
Summer Bridge is a three-week program that support the transition of first-time freshmen to the university. The program is designed to provide an orientation-to-college experience that offers students information and tools to successfully navigate the campus.
Supplemental Instruction
Supplemental Instruction (SI) encourages students to work with peers from class and the SI Leader to develop successful study strategies, exchange creative ideas, gain a better understanding of the course material, and improve overall grades. SI has proven to be a high-impact practice with students who attend sessions earning half to a full letter grade higher than those who do not.

Student Support Services-Disabilities
TRIO Student Support Services-Disabilities (SSS-D), for students with disabilities, helps them develop the academic skills and personal development necessary to successfully pursue and complete a college degree.

TRIO Student Support Services Veterans
We are who we serve with our staff of Veterans. National Guardsman, and Reservist. Whether you're receiving GI benefits or not we are here for you. Our mission is to provide support through retention for the goal of graduation.

Tutoring
Tutoring allows students to set the agenda and move at their own pace within an inclusive and collaborative learning space. In other words, Fresno State's Tutoring program allows students to study efficiently, effectively and feel great about it along the way.

Undergraduate Student Recruitment
Undergraduate Student Recruitment provides services to high school and transfer students seeking to earn an undergraduate degree at Fresno State.

University Advising Center
Advisors are available for currently attending or returning Fresno State undergraduates. University Advising Center can help you with General Education, graduation requirements, probation and disqualification, major exploration and more.

University Registrar
The Office of the University Registrar includes registration services for current students, student records, Undergraduate Degree Evaluations, Veterans Services Office, as well as Transfer Credit & Articulation.
University Student Union
The programs and services located in the USU are for students to discover a myriad of opportunities to get involved, experience the diversity of our campus, and celebrate the distinction of student leadership at Fresno State.
Upward Bound
The Upward Bound Programs serve low-income, first-generation college bound high school students who have the potential to succeed in college, but whose high school grades and test scores do not reflect that potential.

Veterans Resource Center
Fresno State's Veterans Resource Center assists veterans, reservists/guard/active duty service members and dependents to receive their educational benefits after being admitted to Fresno State.

Resnick Student Union
Lynda and Stewart Resnick Student Union, completed in Fall 2022, will be a signature building for co-curricular life at Fresno State.
