Dog Days
Dog Days Fee Deferment
The Dog Days fee for the Spring 2025 orientations (12/17, 12/20, and 1/3) will be $70 for all students. Students who have a completed FAFSA and Financial Aid file with Financial Aid will automatically be screened to see if you are eligible for a fee deferment. There is no separate application process, it is automatic.
Dog Days: New Student Orientation allows eligible students the opportunity to defer the payment for their Dog Days: New Student Orientation until February 2025 instead of the November 15th, 2024 deadline. Students who are approved for the deferment must still pay for their orientation. The deferment is an extension of the deadline. There are no fee waivers. To be eligible students must:
- Have a completed FAFSA or Dream Act Application on file with the Financial Aid office at Fresno State. In addition to a completed FAFSA/ Dream Act Application, students should also have all additional supporting paperwork turned in to Financial Aid.
- Have a calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of 500 or less.
- Select "yes", if eligible, when you make your Dog Days reservation.
In order to receive the Dog Days Fee Deferment, students must register for an orientation session and request the fee deferment through the Dog Days reservation system. A DDD positive indicator will appear on your Student Center if you select the fee deferment option.
If you select "no" you will not be able to go back and change your selection. You must select "yes" the first time, if eligible. If you are not eligible you will not receive the option to select "yes" or "no". If you believe you should be eligible for a fee deferment, please email us at dogdays@mail.fresnostate.edu.
There are NO refunds for Dog Days student or guest fees.
The Dog Days reservation system for the Spring 2025 semester closes on November 15th. For additional questions contact the Dog Days Office at (559) 278-4885 during normal business hours.
