Dog Days Fee Deferment
The Dog Days fee for the Summer 2021 orientations have been waived for all students and guests. Incoming Fall 2021 students will attend Dog Days for free.
If you are still interested in the fee deferment details for future orientations the information is below.
Dog Days: New Student Orientation allows eligible students the opportunity to defer the payment for their Dog Days: New Student Orientation until Financial Aid disperses in the Fall semester, typically in August. Students eligible for the deferment must still pay for their orientation. The deferment is an extension of the deadline. There are no fee waivers. To be eligible students must:
- Have a completed FAFSA or Dream Act Application on file with the Financial Aid office at Fresno State. In addition to a completed FAFSA/ Dream Act Application, students should also have all additional supporting paperwork turned in to Financial Aid.
- Have a calculated Expected Family Contribution (EFC) of zero.
- Select "yes", if eligible, when you make your Dog Days reservation.
If you select "no" you will not be able to go back and change your selection. You must select "yes" the first time, if eligible. If you are not eligible you will not receive the option to select "yes" or "no".
In order to receive the Dog Days Fee Deferment, students must register for an orientation session and request the fee deferment through the Dog Days reservation system. A DDD positive indicator will appear on your Student Center if you select the fee deferment option.
For additional questions contact the Dog Days Office at (559) 278-4885 during normal business hours.
