How to Register
Incoming fall semester students
Incoming students must complete the Accept/Decline process through their Student Center in order to make a reservation. Incoming students must complete their Dog Days reservation by May 1st for freshmen and June 1st for transfer students. Students who do not complete the registration process by the deadline may have their admission to Fresno State subject to cancellation.
Follow the steps below to register for Dog Days:
1. Log onto your student portal at my.fresnostate.edu.
a. Your username is the same as your Fresno State email without
the @mail.fresnostate.edu portion.
b. Your password is the same as your Fresno State email password.
2. Navigate to the Student Center
a. Click on Student Self-Service
b. Click on Student Center
c. Go to the My Admissions Information section (2nd green arrow)
d. Click on Dog Days Orientation
i. You must first complete the Accept/Decline process
before you can make a reservation. After you accept your admission to system will automatically redirect you to the Dog Days
3. Select your workshop and register for Dog Days
a. Only available workshops will appear. Workshops are determined by major and workshops that are full will not be displayed.
b. Select your meal
c. You may add up to 2 guests for in-person Dog Days. There is limited space for guests and no guest option will appear for dates that are full.
4. Review all information on the confirmation page.
a. If you are eligible for a Fee Deferment the option will appear for you to select "yes" or "no". If no option appears you are not eligible.
i. Students who accept the Fee Deferment will have their fee deadline changed to mid September. The deferment is an extension of the deadline, not a waiver.
a. The payment button will take you to the university payment system. Your $70 student fee will automatically be charged to your account
b. If you have registered any guests you will need to add the guests to your shopping cart.
6. Guest Payment
a. On the Student Center click on the third green arrow titled "My Finances".
b. Click on "View eBills/Make a Payment"
c. Click on "Dog Days Guest Fee"
d. Click on "Pmt-Dog Days Guest Fee" and add 1 or 2 guests depending on your reservation
e. Click "Add to payment"
f. Complete your payment.
- Once you add the guest online you also have the option of paying in-person at the Cashiers Office in the Joyal Administration building.
7. Dog Days summer student fees will be due by May 1st for freshmen and June 1st for incoming transfer students. Guest fees must be made prior to your scheduled Dog Days orientation.
To make any changes to your Dog Days reservation you will need to contact our office at 559.278.4885 or email@example.com. Make sure to have your Fresno State ID number ready. In order to receive a refund, students must contact our office 10 days prior to your scheduled Dog Day to cancel your reservation.
