On this page you will find links to various resources that will be invaluable during your transition to Fresno State. These items will be available for you to download and in the future will be located on Canvas for you to access during your first year. 

 

University Event Calendar - Visit the New Student and Family Programs website for a calendar of events going on this summer. There are new additions weekly.

 

Dog Days Pre-Orientation SurveyEach summer, Dog Days welcomes a new incoming class to Fresno State. Help us get to know you as you transition to the Fresno State campus by filling out the pre-orientation survey! 

 

Dog Days Post-Orientation Survey - Dog Days would like to hear about your virtual Dog Days experience. Once you have completed your virtual Dog Day, feel free to share your experience on our post Dog Days survey! 

 Each survey provides an opportunity to be entered into a raffle for a Kennel Bookstore giftcard! 

 

Transfer Success Center Canvas Page - The Transfer Success Center is here to help transfer students in any way we can. Visit our website to learn about services and once the campus reopens you can come by our office and pick up a free t-shirt. We're in Joyal Administraiton, room 131.

BARK Book - New Student Handbook - The BARK Book is the handbook for new students containing information about all aspects of campus. There is information about Financial Aid, Advising Centers, Technology, etc. It is a wealth of information that will make it a lot easier to find things on campus. 

Degree Progress Report (DPR) Video - Link to the Registrar's Office video about the degree progress report.

GE Sheet - In order to receive a degree from Fresno State you have to complete classes related to your major of study as well as classes in General Education, GE for short. These classes include your English and Math classes in addition to several others. The GE sheet will help you to figure out what classes will count towards your degree. Make sure to ask your academic counselor about which classes pertain to you. 

 

In-Person List - Wondering which classes will be in-person for the Spring 2021 semester? Visit the Registrar's Office website for a list of class that will be in-person.

 

Student Success - A list of various resources to help you be healthy and successful all offered from the Division of Student Affairs and Enrollment Management.

 

Online Pre-Orientation - Here s link to the Online Pre-Orientation that you should have completed as a part of your Dog Days experience. You will have access to the program for your first year on campus.

 

Dog Days Newsletter - The newsletter created by Dog Days with information about Dog Days as well as how to get a Wifi Hot Spot or Device for the entire semester courtesy of the DISCOVERe program on campus.

 

Housing - Are you looking for housing? There are several options starting with Fresno State Student Housing. The only on-campus option, Fresno State Student Housing, the dorms, offer a lot of amenities not to mention they are located steps from the library.

If you are thinking about an off-campus option there are several choices including Palazzo, University Village, and the Victor. Check out their websites to learn more and make sure to mention Dog Days.
